Summary:The Project Manager will assist the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs in overseeing the operation and direction of several programs and services to develop and implement a comprehensive and intentional beyond the classroom experience. The Division of Student Affairs supports the mission of the institution; creates supportive environments and innovative opportunities for student learning; meets the needs and addresses the interests of a diverse campus population; and contributes to the overall development of individuals and the campus community.Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities:Work with the senior leadership within the division of student affairs to research, plan and manage logistics for divisional projects and programs.Assist various offices within the division of student affairs on key initiatives, programs and services.Coordinate the planning and implementation of the Lynn Leadership Institute, a leadership development experience.Coordinate the implementation of the program review cycle and strategic plan framework within the Division of Student Affairs.Work with unit leaders to ensure data is collected, analyzed, reported, and used to guide continuous improvement of divisional programs, services, and facilities.Manage the design of divisional communication including periodic reports and presentations.Develop project scopes and objectives while involving all relevant stakeholders.Formulate, organize and monitor all inter-connected projects.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects.Establish and maintain relationships with community partners and third parties/vendors.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Ensure resource availability and allocation for projects.Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.Identify, report and escalate all project problems to leadership as needed.Support and implement the University mission and strategic plan.Maintain professional conduct and ethical behavior at all times.Other duties as assigned.Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed to complete position requirements.Excellent time management, communication and conflict resolution skills.Strong leadership, judgment, managerial, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills; demonstrated commitment to diversity.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university required.Two years related experience and/or training.Must have a valid and clear Drivers License and be permitted to drive in the state of Florida.Experience working in an educational setting is highly preferred.Experience using design and presentation software is a plus.Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification is preferred.
