Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management, along with a minimum of 10 years of robust project management experience, overseeing contracts valued between $10 million and $100 million. Demonstrated success in leading teams to profitable outcomes is essential. You will be responsible for guiding the project team to achieve goals, adhere to budgets, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role involves direct collaboration with owners/clients, subcontractors, internal accounting, and the construction management team. You will also manage the efforts of assigned Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, and/or Project Managers I or II, while reporting directly to the Division Manager.

Develop contacts and quickly build relationships with potential customers.

Play a key role in relationship building and management of customers.

Effectively negotiate business and legal provisions of construction contracts.

Consistently achieve customer satisfaction goals and raving fans.

Consistently achieve high levels of quality, design, and profitability on projects assigned to the team.

Achieve team financial goals.

Manage the team’s accounts receivables effectively and collect promptly.

Resolve the team’s warranty issues promptly and effectively.

Ensure that general team administrative responsibilities are carried out promptly and accurately.

Participate or lead owner/client presentations and negotiations.

Oversee design development, budget preparation, and development of project schedules.

Supervise a team of Project Engineers, Sr. Project Engineers, Project Managers I & II, and Project Assistants, as required, depending on assigned project(s).

Play a key role in developing procurement strategy including preparing bid documents, negotiating, and awarding subcontracts.

Ensure project closeout duties are completed per Ryan standards and in a timely manner.

Possess advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, material pricing, and design management.

Compensation:

The base pay is $121,900.00 - $152,400.00. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
