Job Description SummaryWe have a fantastic opportunity for an ESG Manager to join our team, supporting a key global client.The ESG Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sustainability programs to help our client achieve their ambitious environmental, social, and governance goals. You will lead the development of their sustainable portfolio management strategies across their regional and global real estate operations.To seamlessly deliver sustainability programs and achieve targets, you will work closely with the account team including transaction managers, lease administrators, estate managers, vendors, strategic partners, and other service suppliers across the client account team. You will also be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting sustainability performance for their leased portfolio, as necessary.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Develop and execute sustainability strategies for your client’s real estate portfolio, working collaboratively with stakeholders to successfully implement programs and initiatives to reach client’s objectives.Prioritise embedding sustainability considerations into all portfolio management processes from site selection to transaction execution to measurement and improvement of sustainability performance.Track, analyse, and report on global sustainability metrics for lease contracts, including energy, water, waste, and other ESG metrics. Report internally and externally on sustainability initiatives and metrics, including ESG compliance reporting.Develop and implement appropriate governance structure for the program, including communications on sustainability strategies, plans, and progress towards goals.Maintain awareness of global sustainability trends, tools, and metrics, and support the integration of sustainability best practices into client’s sustainability program.Experience:Bachelor’s degree in subjects such as environmental science, engineering, climate change, sustainability, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.At least 5 years of relevant experience (related to corporate sustainability or ESG, consulting, or similar).Broad understanding of sustainability program management within the real estate sector with deep expertise in the following:BenchmarkingSustainability strategies and programsClimate risk and mitigationSustainable portfolio management strategies and programsSustainability and ESG reporting (GRI, TCFD, CDP, etc.)Demonstrate strong people management skills; particularly the ability to support, coach, and celebrate others to advance employee engagement and achieve business results.This is a varied and exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team, significantly progressing your career.
