Materials Supervisor

is in charge of managing scheduling and on-time delivery of outbound/inbound shipments. The individual is also accountable for utilizing process improvement techniques, managing alerts, escalation and ensuring accurate information is sent to the customer in a timely manner. Responsibilities include leading and supervising activities associated with all Material Handlers.

Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Manage inbound receiving, to ensure accuracy; receipt/manage inventory in SAP.Ensure correct information is sent to the customer timely (proper blend numbers, racks numbers, trailer numbers).Develop and sustain customer relations with off-shift customer personnel.Manage ADP time and attendance for team members.Manage documentation and disciplinary issues.Complete employee evaluations (90 days for Temps, and Annually for company hourly Team Members).5S.Manage SWI in addition to polyvalence, and auditing of processes.Adhere to and ensure staff employees also comply with good housekeeping standards and company practices.Ensure Material Handlers are properly trained and certified (Lift Truck Drivers, and Tugger Drivers).Ensure ASN data is sent correct and on time to the customer.Adhere to and comply with all required safety requirements.Adhere and comply with all company policies and procedures.Required Skills/Education/Experience:The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and/or qualifications:This position requires Inventory/Warehouse Supervisory experience (no less than minimum of 5 years).Good customer engagement and communication skills are mandatory.Possess basic computer knowledge – Proficient in Microsoft Office.Understand and work in Ford system (CMMS3, EDDL).Functional production/Inventory Knowledge.Experience in manufacturing, automotive/JIT environments.Integrity – adhering to high ethical principles and professional standards.Trustworthiness – Being honest, dependable, and earning the confidence of others.Excellence – consistently being the best you can be.Responsible – being reliable and trustworthy.Accountability – being obligated and willing to accept responsibility for one’s actions.Dignity – behaving in accord with DMS basic principles.Respect – treating others as you would have them treat you.Ability to lead and motivate employees/teams.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Able to work in a cross-functional team.Our Values:Gratitude * Integrity * Fun * Teamwork * Excellence * Diversity & Respect * Innovation * Commitment * Humility
