Reporting to the

Director, Supply Chain , the

Supply Chain Manager

is accountable for the management of flow of goods and services; money, and information, which includes the movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, finished goods as well as the end-to-end order fulfilment from

point of origin to point of consumption .This position will oversee the following operational areas within Supply Chain: Shipping and receiving, storage trailers, warehousing (SAP-warehouse management), material handling, inventory control, all these for multiple buildings.Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:Review obsolescence value, claimable and non-claimable inventory and ensure claims are submitted in the customer systems prior to the deadlines.Ensure completion of semi-annual performance reviews and individual development plans.Ensure material handling team members consistently participate in plant preparedness and execution of TS 16949, internal/external & SOX Audits.Minimize premium freight, ensuring corrective actions are put in place for the root cause of avoidable unplanned freight.Ensure corrective actions are executed for cycle count root causes.Facilitate daily team communication meetings.Facilitate weekly staff meetings (L10 Meetings with Direct Reports).Ensure the logistics plan provided by the 3PL is adhered to and continuously work to improve the utilization of trailers and the leveling of deliveries.Ensure the ERP (Electronic Requirement Planning) system parameters match the logistics plan to ensure the PFEP (Plan for Every Part) is accurate at all times.Manage the ECN process to ensure data integrity and minimal obsolescence.Manage department time and attendance reporting. Manage daily Indirect labor hours to achieve monthly goals.Ensure plant material handling and storage practices are SAFE.Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.Warehouse Manager Requirements:The ideal candidate will have/possess the following qualifications:Extensive experience with SAP Warehouse management module.Familiar with MRP systems (and customer systems SAP and Ford system experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience managing both hourly (UAW) and salary employees.Knowledge of Lean and other continuous improvement tools such as kaizen and Six Sigma.Strong with data analytics, Microsoft Excel high knowledge needed.Exceptional communication with both the customer and suppliers.Integrity – adhering to high ethical principles and professional standards.Trustworthiness – Being honest, dependable, and earning the confidence of others.Excellence – consistently being the best you can be.Responsible – being reliable and trustworthy.Accountability – being obligated and willing to accept responsibility for one’s actions.Dignity – behaving in accord with DMS basic principles.Respect – treating others as you would have them treat you.Our Values:Gratitude * Integrity * Fun * Teamwork * Excellence * Diversity & Respect * Innovation * Commitment * Humility
