JOB SUMMARY:The Brand & Communications Strategist will provide oversight and support for key brand and communication activities in the Marketing department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Brand Strategy Support & Brand Adherence ManagementManages and continuously updates the Bank's corporate Brand Guidelines for accuracy.Serves as a subject matter expert on brand adherence, weighing in and speaking up when things fall out of brand guidelines.Acts as one of three spelling/grammar approvers in Kadince, primarily assigned to general communications (not product specific).Partners with the Director of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities to make brand decisions pertaining to interior and exterior design choices and logo placement.Marketing lead for in-branch digital signage (DBSI), including branch installations, troubleshooting, and best practices for efficiencies in up-time and placement.Responsible for partnering with local branches to curate custom content for display on the in-branch digital signage screens.Responsible for researching the brand integrity of potential sponsors to ensure there are no concerns for negative brand association.Corporate Event InitiativesServes as the project manager for all marketing-driven corporate events. Duties include:Provides a project outline to all parties involved to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.Logo managementPartners with the Enterprise Insurance Manager to ensure appropriate insurance is secured in advance of the event.Provides guidance on how to secure the following elements: promotional giveaways, advertisements, collateral material, raffle rules and documents.Partners with the Internal Communications team to obtain internal publicity on the Bank's internal website.Spearheads and oversees the budget for the Bank's hyper-local Guerilla marketing campaign by collaborating with bankers to develop a strategy, field ideas and execute initiatives.Local Market Spend SupportPartners with bankers to review sponsorship opportunities prior to contract negotiations to ensure the Bank receives maximum brand exposure. A member of the Bank's LMS sponsorship request review committee that provides oversight to aid in the selection of sponsorships that will drive the most new business and brand awareness.Manages incoming logo/ad requests that are coming from local market spend activities. Including collecting trademark consent forms prior to distributing and sharing logo files, submit ad requests to the design team.Elevates concerns for events or sponsorship requests that do not align with our brand or create brand reputational risk to CMO and Brand & Communications Manager prior to approving or providing a logo.External CommunicationsCollaborates with the Bank's Communications Manager to develop and execute the external communications strategy focused on the following initiatives:HQ ProjectAward NominationsTable of Expert SeriesBranded ContentExecutive Profiles / Paid PlacementsActively participates with the Bank's external communications firm.Reviews and provides feedback on press releases.Risk and ReputationMarketing lead on the Operational Risk and Compliance Committee meetings. Complete digital presence/reputation checks for new vendors, point of contact on Tollgate meetings.Marketing lead for brand and reputational risk monitoring.Liaison to the Enterprise Risk Management team and are responsible for uploading the JD Power Performance Customer Experience score into the Logic Manager Portal.Adheres to Seacoast Bank's code of conduct.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years Marketing experience requiredBanking experience preferredThe Statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
