At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.We are looking for automotive service advisors who are responsible for communicating with customers about their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to Service Technicians. This position is a Service Manager developmental role. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization.Responsibilities
As a Midas automotive service advisor, you will greet customers and help them determine repairs and relevant costs, maintaining up-to-date knowledge about our range of services and contacting customers to update them about their vehicle’s repair status. Other duties include:Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customersFollowing up with customers on services requested, estimated completion times, etc.Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing partsDeliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specialsOversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucksManage the service center’s scheduling and workflowEnsure overall cleanliness and organization of the facilityOther duties as assignedQualifications
A minimum of 2 years of service advisor experienceGeneral automotive knowledgeLeadership abilityAbility to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidaysValid driver’s licenseCompensation: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearJoin Our Team
