Automotive Service Advisor

At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.We are looking for automotive service advisors to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires, related automotive parts, and mechanical services. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization.ResponsibilitiesAs a Midas service advisor, you will schedule appointments, greet and write up customers, while coordinating with the rest of our store team to direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operations of daily shop activities.These tasks include:Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customersFollowing up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times, etc.Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing partsDeliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specialsOversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucksMaintain inventory countsOverall cleanliness and organization of the facilityOther duties as assignedQualificationsA minimum of 2 years of retail store or service advisor experienceGeneral understanding of profit margins and markupGeneral automotive knowledgeGood communication and computer skillsAbility to lead by exampleAbility to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidaysValid driver’s licenseJoin Our Team
