Product Manager III – Medicare

Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a portfolio of Medicare products/programs. Develops and manages competitive offerings by overseeing market research and regulatory requirements, defining product requirements/features, designing the overall customer experience, and managing the product performance life cycle to support growth and retention. Identifies critical topics for Medicare product strategy and assists in leading efforts to drive decision-making, bringing clarity to sometimes ambiguous situations. May interact with regulatory bodies.

Key Accountabilities:

Medicare product and benefit SME for assigned productsAssist with annual product readiness and communications/trainings to internal operational departmentsParticipate in peer review of mandated and marketing documents (EOC, ANOC, SB, sales brochures, etc.)Perform ongoing market competitive analyses, researching and analyzing Medicare market trends and monitor local market competitors and make recommendations for product improvementsProvide ongoing service area analyses and identify potential scenarios and/or solutions that enable the organization to achieve its growth and retention goalsFacilitate cross-functional meetings with internal and external stakeholdersMay support annual bid cycle and CMS PBP submissionsOther duties as assignedQualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field5 years of related work experience beyond degreeExperience managing or working with Medicare productsPreferred Qualifications:

Experience with Medicare Supplement plans, managing rate increases and working with a third-party administratorStrong analytical skills using Excel, pivot tables, reporting software (i.e., Tableau)Strong attention to detailSkills and Abilities:

Knowledge of all Medicare plan types including Medicare Supplement planMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong analytical skillsSelf-starterAbility to learn new systems quicklyAbility to collaborate with internal partners and external vendorsDetail oriented, strong organization skills, and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to quickly adapt to change and work independentlyExperience in the conduct of market research, competitive analysis, and the development of business cases to drive decisionsExceptional project management skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels of an organizationThis position is a Remote role. The employee must be located in any state in which Medica is an employer and will work remotely 100% of the time.The full salary range for this position is $75,300 -$129,000. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
