Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
(Hybrid - 1 to 2 days onsite per week in Irvine, CA)
Overview:
As a Sr. HRBP, you will focus on supporting our workforce by aligning HR initiatives to business goals. We seek an experienced HR professional with a results-oriented mindset.
In this role, you will be a consultant to managers on people and organizational matters. You will work with employees to provide ‘hands-on’ support on all HR-related matters. You will be responsible for assessing and anticipating business unit-level HR needs, developing appropriate and compliant solutions to support the workforce, and partner with other team members and relevant stakeholders across the company to implement effective solutions in an efficient manner.
The impact you'll make:
Consult with line managers and provide day-to-day guidance on HR matters
Educate and guide employees on HR policies, processes and procedures
Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances effectively
Analyze trends and metrics relevant to HR
Collaborate with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
Monitor and report on workforce planning and succession planning as needed
Identify training needs for teams and individuals and evaluate training programs as needed
Evaluate the use of HR products and services to identify areas for improvement
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes
Support the development and implementation of improvements to HR processes
Gather and analyze root causes of issues and potential risks, and develop effective and realistic plans to mitigate them
Support the implementation of innovative HR solutions to manage organizational change, engage employees, increase org effectiveness and strategic talent management
Resolve employee relations issues efficiently and effectively, including conducting investigations when necessary
Support the effective and accurate administration of payroll and benefits processes
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data in systems and adhere to set HR governance practices
Gather and utilize relevant data to drive key HR metrics related to talent attraction, engagement and retention
Manage HR projects and champion HR initiatives
Partner with managers to help align people management practices that support and drive high performance
Coach managers to proactively manage employee and team performance, and other employee relations issues
Build strong professional relationships with managers and employees
Gather data to form a good understanding of the employee engagement and cultural pulse of the organization
Develop and support initiatives to maintain a high level of employee engagement
Act as a supportive and enthusiastic team player and encourage a positive work environment
Represent HR as a professional and trusted partner across all levels
Performs other tasks as needed
What you've accomplished:
10+ years of experience in an HRBP role
Strong knowledge of all HR functions and best practices
Ability to provide guidance and support to business unit managers
Proven experience in development and implementation of people strategies
Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures
In-depth understanding of business unit objectives, operations and challenges
Ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives
Ability to integrate HR initiatives with business unit operations
Experience coaching and guiding members of the business unit(s) they serve
Experience coaching business managers on people management and talent strategies
Strong influencing skills
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated experience with HR metrics
Ability to gather and interpret raw data, document and analyze findings and develop appropriate recommendations
Strong knowledge of employment legislation
Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of HR
Experience in conflict resolution
Experience working with virtual teams
Strong customer service orientation
Strong ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality of information
Experience in project management
Strong attention to detail
Salary and Benefits:
The base pay range for this position is $131,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year.
