Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Process Improvement Consulta nt to join our Business Operations team . The successful candidate will be a creative thinker and problem solver, with a passion for education and training. In this highly visible role, you’ll be responsible for managing initiatives and contribut ing to team effort s , such as: continuous process improvement, building and maintaining program dashboards, strategic planning , d eveloping business rules , processes, metrics, policies, and standards, and other administrative tasks . This role will have the unique opportunity to help shape education for active duty service members and healthcare professionals on a global scale .

Responsibilties

Tracking and working high priority initiatives , identifying obstacles , risks, and opportunities, p resent ing updates/materials to senior division, program, and government officialsPromot ing continuous process improvement and standardization by proactively identifying gaps in service, training, or other processes and drafting, developing, and/or updating business documents and requirementsCoach ing , consult ing with, and assist ing the client in project coordination (e.g., stakeholder report) , program dashboard creation and maintenance, process improvement , and strategic planningDevelop ing , maintaining, and training end-users on how to use p rogram d ashboardsDeveloping automated workflow processes to track progress and streamline operationsAssist ing in the creation and establishment of a Process Asset Library, creating templates and documentation to support project management and education initiativesAssist ing with the enterprise risk management program and training on identification, mitigations, and best practicesProviding decision support through data gathering, information analysis , and presenting considerations to relevant stakeholdersSupporting Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) integrationsMaintaining current, accurate listings of outward facing IP addresses for authenticationConduct ing research and analysis to develop white papers, briefings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), P rocedural I nstructions (PI) , and executive summariesDevelop ing concise, professional, and compelling executive presentations on major initiativesSupportorganizational planning and coordination for a wide variety of summits, initiatives, and educational opportunitiesCoordinates with offsite, remote, and/or external organizations , teams , and/or vendors to conduct data calls, complete tasks, and manage initiativesIdentifying and managing ad hoc strategic projectsAssist ing with research with policies and emerging regulations and provide analyses, recommendationsAssist ing in facilitation and the coordination of high-level meetings, ensuring that read- aheads are relevant, quality checked, and ensuring that minutes are submitted on timeProvid ing administrative support for meetings and conferences (meeting minutes, notes, action items, etc.)Updat ing and maintain ing multiple client SharePoint site s , dashboards, and shared drives.

Qualifications

Required:

A BA/BS degree in a related field3 + years of experience in Business Operations, Education and Training , or a related fieldMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)Must p ossess es excellent oral and written communication , as well as presentation skill sAbility to work independently and multi-task in a high paced environment with quick turnaround for documents, briefs, and other deliverablesMust be a self-motivated, proactive team player that is responsive and easily adaptable, with the ability to step in and support the client with minimal directionStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsMust be able to obtain and maintain government eligibility requirementsStrong process improvement knowledge and abilities; Six Sigma preferredA sincere interest in education and training, process improvement, and/or standardization strongly desiredExperienc e with MS Teams, Visio, and SharePoint preferredExperience with DHA or the Military preferredExperience in project management , coordination , and/or tools preferred
