The Project Manager/Estimator will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion while also estimating costs and resources required. This dual role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
Plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope.Coordinate with various teams, including design, procurement, and construction.Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Estimating:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions.Analyze project requirements to ensure accurate bidding and compliance with client specifications.Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and resource availability.Maintain a database of historical cost data and benchmarks for future reference.
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.Prepare and present project proposals, estimates, and reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in project management and cost estimating (3+ years preferred).Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and estimating tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.How to Apply
