www.noresco.com .Noresco is looking for an experienced Regional Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manager to join our growing team! The Regional Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manager will be responsible for operational and maintenance activities at electric and thermal production facilities owned by NORESCO’s clients. They will be responsible for supervising NORESCO’s operators and subcontracted maintenance personnel in support of the John O. Pastore Center in Cranston, Rhode Island, and at the University of Rhode Island campus in Kingston, Rhode Island. They will assure that the facility meets its contractual performance, availability, and customer savings guarantees while remaining in compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and corporate requirements. The Regional O&M Manager will work onsite at one of these locations, depending on the expected events scheduled for that day.Primary Responsibilities:NORESCO’s primary point of contact to liaise with customer personnel and coordinate third-party contractors providing direct maintenance supportLead NORESCO’s rotating shift operators in the daily operations of the equipment, which includes generators of electrical power and all supporting equipment and systemsPrepare, maintain, and update job plans for planned tasksEnsure preventive maintenance services are scheduled and executed per the OEM’s designated intervals and standardsIdentify and procure resources required for planned tasks such as parts, tooling, equipment, materials, and work proceduresReview operations logs and performance data to monitor equipment conditions and identify issues with the operation of the system (critical trend analysis); promptly address leading indicators of potential equipment failuresReview information from oil samples, component operating hour data, operating reports and recommended OEM suppliers’ component replacement guidelines, to propose and schedule proactive maintenance and component replacementReview field service reports from NORESCO’s subcontractors. Ensure observations and recommendations are evaluated and tracked to resolution.Monitor all warranty programs. Ensure warranty work is claimed in a timely manner and all warranty issues are resolved.Maintain the site’s document retention (ensure storage on NORESCO’s share drives)Develop critical path plans and execute efficient periodic maintenance outages, to include coordination with NORESCO’s clients and subcontractorsCoordinate and manage contracted resources and schedules during scheduled and unplanned maintenance work. Coordinate NORESCO managed activities with site owner’s management.Lead regular meetings to review daily and weekly work schedulesMaintain good customer relationsCoordinate with multiple business units within NORESCO as needed (to include Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Measurement & Verification, Cyber, and IT)Generate site owner meeting agendas and minutes; lead efficient and productive update meetings (periodic & emergent)Perform plant inspections and safety walkthroughs during operational and maintenance periodsMaintain onsite inventories (tools, test equipment, materials, critical spares, …); replenish as neededProfit and Loss (P&L) Responsibilities, to include generating the annual budget; capital expenditure planning; monthly forecasts, accruals, and variance analysis with development of recovery plans as needed to deliver the target revenue and profit; review service agreements/proposals; generate purchase orders; review and approve invoicesSupervise the creation and updating of work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), maintaining accurate and complete records of work performedUse CMMS to generate reports, to include maintenance completion reports, material history, and preventative maintenance forecastsMaintain effective short and long-term maintenance planning and schedulingRespond to the site after hours and/or on weekends as necessary to lead restoration from emergent equipment failuresSupervise and provide ongoing training for site operators and maintenance personnelAssist in troubleshooting of the equipment to assess equipment conditions and to determine corrective maintenance path to restorationDeveloping the site’s long term and annual asset Operations and Maintenance (O&M) program and strategy; generate and lead execution of the annual O&M planCapture lessons learned/best practices; contribute to continuous improvement effortsManage project Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) programs to comply with regulations and corporate/client policies and keep the project in safe reliable operating condition; ensure compliance during daily operations and maintenance workREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree5+ years of experience in electric power generation (turbines and/or reciprocating engines)5+ years of experience in maintenance management, planning, and execution3+ years of experience with safety related programs (LOTO, HAZMAT/HAZWASTE, PPE, …)Carry up to 50 pounds up and down multiple levels of stairs and working on ladders and elevated platformsDrivers licensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical disciplineMBA or graduate degreeOSHA 30 certification or ability to earn certification after hiringAbility to regularly travel between the assigned project sitesFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and TeamsMust pass drug testing, background checks, security checksAbility to work independently with minimal oversightProblem analysis, assessment, and remediation abilityWorking knowledge of balance of plant equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, control systems, cooling systems, chemical injection systems, …)Experience managing operators in rotating shifts, supporting continuous operationsExperience leading emergent troubleshooting and restoration efforts, while communicating status, way ahead, and expected schedule to supervisors and/or clientsExperience leading cross functional teamsFamiliarity with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Customer relations experienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsOther Job DetailsSite specific prime mover training will be providedCMMS specific training will be providedCompany phone and laptop provided; company vehicle not providedSalaried position; not eligible for overtime compensation#LI-ONSITERSRCAR

Pay Range:
