This position is responsible for ensuring timely execution of product specific plans, effectively communicating critical information, and supplying market, product, financial and end user data analysis to drive business decisions.Specific ResponsibilitiesContinuously develop as a product expert by staying in touch with the market, interacting with sales people, distributors, and end users through a variety of venues.Manage & Review existing product lines. This includes understanding the market & product life cycle, seeking out opportunities for product improvement, product line additions, new markets, improved merchandising, promotions, and other growth prospects.Manage & execute the new product development phase gate process. This includes product launches, special promotions, new product development, forecasting, setting prices, and other activities deemed necessary.Assist with developing and creating marketing content for new and existing products.Perform Market Research. This is includes talking with customers, sales reps, and outside rep agencies to set up customer visits, conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) events and get first hand information from customers on use case of products and processes.Use information gained from VOC and customer interaction to develop new product ideas that align with GMP strategic product focus and create business cases to evaluate financial and development feasibility.Productively contribute to the continuous improvement of the facility by collaborating with cross-functional teams that include Finance, HR, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and SalesBe able to effectively communicate and work in a professional office environment and out on a construction site. This includes giving presentations on new and existing product.Provide product assistance to other areas of the company as needed.Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.Job Qualification RequirementsBachelors Degree in business, engineering or related field and at least three (3) years of relevant experience required.Must be a positive team player, willing to help wherever possible, meet deadlines, and help hold coworkers responsible for their deadlines.Must have an entrepreneurial & hands on mindset .Physical Demand RequirementOccasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds.
