An Office Manager has the responsibility of ensuring that the administrative activities of the service center run efficiently by assisting the General Manager, completing necessary paperwork, updating driver logs, and maintaining office structure. Conducts surveyor online and/or onsite surveys of customer’s household goods and communicates all necessary details to ensure accurate estimates and successful moves.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssist the General Manager with the daily administrative operations of the Service Center.Educate, communicate, and support the 5 Core Values of Safety, Service, People, Profits, and Innovation.Lead and oversee pre-move surveys day to day, providing excellent customer service.Conduct on-site pre-move surveys and timely submit information to move coordinators.Conduct Job Site Visits within a 150-mile radius of the Service Center to ensure excellent customer service and monitor quality measures during the move.Assist in office administration and warehouse operations of the Service Center.Assist the Service Center in performing duties that require the ability to operate a company vehicle, i.e., where applicable trucks, cars, etc.Advise move coordinators about relevant information necessary to answer shipper’s questions/concerns.Provide dispatch with updated daily worksheets reflecting job assignments.Process and complete paperwork for billing and forward to corporate.Update driver’s daily screens every day with all required information.Provide coordination and monitoring of Driver Logs.Prepare and submit various monthly reports.Accomplish tasks within established timelines.Conduct any and all safe/legal duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Two (2) years of administrative, quality control or customer service experience.Household goods moving experience, preferred.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Detail-oriented.Exceptional organization skills.A sense of urgency in timely completing tasks.Drive company vehicles as needed.Physical RequirementsRequires the ability to safely drive a motor vehicle per company policy.Be able to access homes to conduct surveys, including climbing stairs, accessing attics and crawlspaces, and garages or other external structures.Work at a computer for extended periods of time.Move about the office to access office machinery, cabinets, etc.Operate a computer and other office machinery.Communicate frequently over the phone.Frequently required to stand, walk, use arms, hands, and fingers to handle, or feel and reach.Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
