The Move Coordinator is the primary point of contact for our accounts and our transferees and is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of assigned moves. This role would work closely with our accounts, our transferees and various departments within New World to ensure a seamless move for our clients.Responsibilities
Accept/acknowledge new Orders for Service from designated account; conduct introductory calls, explain move process, and send New World literature.Communicate with customers/accounts effectively throughout the move process.Build customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction.Arrange Visual Survey/Conduct phone survey, and initiate the estimate process.Schedule pick-up and delivery dates; set realistic expectations with clients.Provide moving industry knowledge to customers/accounts.Work with 3rd party carriers when necessary.Conduct quality calls every day of move process; facilitate changes as necessary.Insure proper authorization for requested services.Interact with departments as needed to service customer.Trouble-shoot challenges to the move process if/when they arise.Maintain comprehensive notes and data in internal and external systems.Any and all other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.Some college coursework or degree preferred but not required.2 years of customer service experience.Moving industry experience preferred but not required.Exceptional organizational and time management skills a must.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong level of comfort with MS Office Suite and using proprietary software.Physical Requirements
Work at a computer for extended periods of time.Move about the office to access office machinery, cabinets, etc.Operate a computer and other office machinery.
