SUMMARY:The Permitting Specialist will consolidate, manage and maintain project and program artifacts, communicate with project team members and assist with all aspects of project management and permitting tasks. They must manage the review and completion of ROW permit filings and approvals, have familiarity and hands on experience with Utility ROW permit application submission requirements of the area jurisdictions is highly desired and the ability to manage tight deadlines and to secure timely approvals and maintain an accurate database are important elements to be successful in this position.Must follow and meet Performance Expectations for this roleSupports and implements new and existing policies and proceduresIdentify and communicate issues and assist with resolutionsFollows best-practice project planning and status reporting standards per established processesMinimize errors and inefficienciesPrepare project and program statistics and reportsReview and resolution of correspondence and sensitive documentsManage communications plans including email, newsletters, and presentationsManage task lists and action plans including following up with key stakeholders and project participantsWork with state, county and local jurisdictional agencies and governmental authorities to obtain Utility ROW permit approvals.Maintain as needed relationships with municipalities and manage all aspects of complying with conditions of approvals from municipalities for the installation, operation and maintenance of the wireless facilities and the necessary modifications to those facilities.Serve as subject matter expert on matters related to local municipal codes and to effectively communicate status relative to questions on the required components for successful filings.Coordinate with project managers, site acquisition specialists to ensure sites meet expected requirements.SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Adhere to, promote, and accept personal responsibility for compliance to:Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health RegulationsIndustry Consensus StandardsCircet USA Injury and Illness Prevention Program ManualParticipate in job site safety/hazard analysisQualifications
