The Logistics Analyst is responsible for working with the J.F. Taylor team to assist with supporting various areas of project(s) in delivering quality products. The Logistics Analyst will work closely with the Production Lead to ensure parts are procured and received, assemblies are built, and systems are delivered on-time.Responsibilities

Provides logistics support to the government by assisting with the development, build-up, and system integration of various projects.Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.Manage incoming and outgoing shipments with a focus on accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.Has a good understanding of the business or function for which applications are designed.Oversee all aspects assigned, including order entry, scheduling transportation, tracking order status, resolving issues, maintaining documentation, and providing proactive customer support.Assist with developing, managing, and presenting reports such as Production/Logistics Fielding Plans, Procurement Lead Times, and Risk Management Plans, in coordination with weekly operational Production and Project Status meetings.Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and ensure timely delivery.Coordinate with cross-functional groups to ensure completion of a product’s multi-step lifecycle process.Assist with resolving logistics, supply, distribution, and information and service problems.Maintain detailed records to track drawing status and history and be able to recall copies in circulation when required for update.Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation related to logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.The ability to identify, separate, and manage discrepant materials. Develop a plan for corrective actions towards repairing or coordinating the return of discrepant material to manufacturers for repair.Maintain a database of active and closed cases of discrepant material.Maintain configuration control over the evolving product baseline.Develop and maintain receiving, shipping, discrepant, maintenance manual, work instructions, and build guide processes and documentation.Assist Operation Lead with various duties and activities to meet deliveries.Assist with tracking and development of procurement list(s) using Technical Data Packages (TDP).Take ownership and control of the inventory database and receiving products.Position Requirements

Degree: High School degree requiredProblem solverAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentGood written & verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience working with Technical Data Packages (TDP’s)Experience with inventory managementAdditional Information
