The Logistics Analyst is responsible for working with the J.F. Taylor team to assist with supporting various areas of project(s) in delivering quality products. The Logistics Analyst will work closely with the program team to ensure comprehensive system artifacts are clearly defined and properly presented for formal submission.Key Responsibilities

Generates documentation based on Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and associated Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)Devises or modifies procedures to analyze system performance by soliciting inputs from various functional areas: hardware engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, and program managementCraft and manage Logistics Product Data for system and subsystem components to capture detailed information related to logistics design requirements, reliability, maintainability, system safety, maintenance engineering, support and test equipment, training, manpower, facilities, transportation, supply support, and parts packagingAssist with the establishment, implementation, and execution of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) management programs to identify and resolve life-cycle obsolescence and supply chain risk management issuesReview, revise, and assist with the development of Technical Documentation to include Operation Manuals and System Maintenance ManualsTrack and oversee responsible parties assigned to document creation to ensure on-time submissions of deliverablesAssist with developing, managing, and presenting reports such as Production/Logistics Fielding Plans, Procurement Lead Times, Logistics Risk Management Plans, and CDRL Outlooks in coordination with weekly operational Production and Project Status meetingsCoordinate with cross-functional groups to ensure completion of a product’s logistics profile and footprintParticipate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings with Government and prime contractor stakeholdersAssist with resolving logistics, supply, distribution, and information & service problemsMaintain detailed records to track document status and history and be able to recall copies in circulation when required for updateDevelop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation in relation to logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systemsMaintain configuration control over the evolving product baseline documentationAssist Logistics Lead with various duties and activities to meet deliveriesAssist with tracking and development of bills of material and procurement list(s) to determine appropriate sparing of components, often down to the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) levelAssist with organizing and performing Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) of productsPosition Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required1-5 years of experience preferredProblem solverAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentGood written & verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience working with Technical Data Packages (TDPs)About the Organization
