Overview

JST is seeking an Operations Project Manager to support the corporate operations teams. This is a full-time remote position. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.

Operations PM Responsibilities

Conduct basic procurement procedures and techniques.Perform commonly used contracting methods and contract types related to pre-award, and/or price/cost analysis functions to perform well defined and precedent contract actions.Provide assistance in the formation and administration of service and commodity contracts.Focus on pre-award support and price/cost analysis functions containing a variety of complexities.Pre-solicitation support by providing guidance and assistance to PMs/CORs and other customers while developing, preparing, writing, reviewing and editing pre-solicitation packages for submission to the contracting activity for all new and recurring services.Review all pre-solicitation documents and facilitate recommended edits/revisions to the requirements owners (PMs/CORs) to improve consistency with industry best practices, commercial practices and ensure the documentation is compliant with the appropriate regulatory guidance and statutory limitations (e.g., inherently governmental functions and personal services) to include the FAR, DFARS, contract-related Instructions, contracting operating instructions, and any other applicable regulatory guidance.Ensure documentation is prepared by utilizing the most recent FAR, DoD and local templates provided by the COR or contracting agency.Provide business recommendations and aid to technical and contracting personnel involved in developing contract packages. Review requisition package for adequacy and compliance with administrative, regulatory and procedural requirements, consistency with current market practices and conditions, and provide recommendations to the contracting officer.Operations PM Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.5-8 years' experience supporting DoD contracts.DAWIA II, FAC-C II, CPCM or equivalent required.Must have either DoD or US Air Force contracting experience.Strong working knowledge of the FAR and supplements.Professional written and verbal communication.Strong project management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Must be very organized.Highly motivated.Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.Occasional overtime and travel may be required.Required Clearances And Screenings
