Who we are looking forCharles River for Private Markets is seeking a Product Manager, Real Assets to support a high-performing team to execute the vision, strategy, creation, and advocacy of the core Charles River for Private Markets real assets offering. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Product and be responsible for enhancing our overall infrastructure and real estate product offering. You will work jointly with the product, engineering, and delivery teams to build and deliver the best possible experiences and value to customers within private markets investment management through the Charles River for Private Markets platform.The ideal candidate will have prior real assets investment background, excellent business acumen, and be passionate about evangelizing data-driven decision-making and product advocacy at all levels. They should also be a strong communicator comfortable with facilitating executive-level decision justification and roadmap. Here, you can work alongside talented engineers and product managers in an open, supportive, inclusive environment where your voice is valued, and you make your own decisions to drive forward Charles River for Private Markets’ mission to accelerate transparency, accuracy, and liquidity in private markets.What you will be responsible forAs Product Manager, Real Assets you will:Be responsible for analyzing, enhancing, and delivering all new real assets enhancements across internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.Work collaboratively with existing real asset clients and account managers to represent the voice of the customer.Ensure individual features and products are aligned with business objectives.Lead client calls and workshops to collect and understand customer insights to drive product decisions.Prioritize, communicate, and support complex and conflicting opportunities and market needs.Engage with cross-functional heads to ensure alignment and orientation to product execution across the organization.Own the real assets front-to-back product roadmap communication to internal and external stakeholders.Work with product teams to ensure timely and complete requirements gathering, definition, deconstruction, and design.What we valueHighly driven, determined & business-oriented.Highly polished executive presence and sophistication to gain credibility with the firm's most senior professionals and provide leadership, guidance, and direction to a team.Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities through commitment to quality and attention to detail.Education & Preferred Qualifications5+ years of real estate and/or infrastructure investment management backgroundEnterprise SaaS experience is preferredUnderstanding of the private markets/alternative investment lifecycle from manager due diligence to investment monitoring and analytics & reportingAbility to work as part of a global, distributed organizationProgress towards CFA or CAIA is desirableExperience using JIRA or other agile development toolsAdditional requirementsAbility to travel as required for client engagements (-20%), including internationallyAbout State StreetWhat we do.
