Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the management functions related to the delivery of patient care, as well as the quality of nursing practice and the standards of care. Supervises staff while maintaining clinical nursing practice skills and unit specific expertise. Specific duties include directing patient care activities, implementing work place changes, monitoring unit budgets, and participating on performance improvement projects. Serves as a role model and clinical resource to colleagues, staff, patients, and others.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Science, NursingAdvanced Cardiac Life SupportBasic Life SupportRegistered NurseAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobKnowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission RequirementsAbility to maintain flexibility and work well in a fast-paced, constantly changing environmentAbility to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysDemonstrated experience in a leadership role which may include a project, shared governance chair, charge nurse, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
