To provide claims advocacy representing our construction and design clients. The right candidate will consult with clients on complex construction defect and general liability claims; help clients navigate complex insurance programs; coordinate and ensure claims management within industry best practices and specific client service requirements; and to provide high levels of customer service.Qualifications
The Construction Claims Consultant will have the following skills sets and be able to:• perform in depth coverage analysis, investigation, liability and potential exposure analysis• investigate and resolve coverage disputes• assist insureds with the development and implementation of resolution strategies of complex construction defect, general liability claims, etc.• assist as needed with development of client’s claims programs• have superior written and verbal communication skills• work with urgency• highly organized and efficient in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment• able to prioritize effectively to accomplish objectives with creativity and enthusiasm, and with minimal supervision• demonstrate high level of understanding of individual state and civil laws, claims practices and regulatory requirements• proven ability to analyze coverage and draft coverage response letters on complex matters• strong analytical and organizational skills• excellent influencing and negotiation skills; proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams• flexibility to travel• hands-on experience and strong aptitude with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word• demonstrates accountability, adaptability, service motivation, and respects the differences of others• knowledge in controlled programs and SDI are a plus.*Experience with complex general liability construction claims is a must.*Equal Opportunity Statement
