They excel at driving valuable product delivery and have a vision for their product area with a plan for execution. They can articulate how their product roadmaps align with the brand product strategy and how their work will impact customers. A Sr. Product Manager owns the management of their roadmap and must consult their Brand Product Lead prior to making key changes. This person engages customers weekly to understand the industry, pain points, and how their product work can solve customer problems. This role is the most senior position focused solely on product delivery in a product area or business unit without brand-wide responsibilities.Own planning, vision, and implementation of features for core business or multiple product areasProvide regular input on overall product strategy and how team initiatives align with the overall product strategyDevelop an understanding of the industry including emerging trends, new technologies, and addressable marketsEngage current and prospective customers to analyze their needs, business practices, and future plansEstablish and align product roadmaps with the broader product strategyMentor and/or manage product colleagues and drive the development of their key skillsIdentify areas of improvement and fresh opportunities to thrill the marketEngage internal stakeholders to execute product releases and support the narrative for product feature releasesDeliver clear and comprehensive product requirements to guide the development teamOwn the management and grooming of a product backlog ensuring tickets are ready for upcoming sprintsEngage sales, marketing, and customer support to capture customer feedbackPartake in the Scrum process and help drive effective scrum ceremoniesIdentify key success metrics for initiatives and tie those metrics to overall business metricsFocus on customer value and identify MVP solutionsIdentify and raise opportunities and risks to managementContribute to customer-facing demos and sales and marketing initiativesIdentify and eliminate low value work undertaken by their agile teamEngage with design, research, and development to articulate customer pain pointsQualifications5+ years of professional experience managing software products from inception through launch and iterationAbility to operate and engage with a product team with no supervisionExperience leading junior team members and developing product management skillsAbility to articulate and drive research and design needs in support of product decisionsExperience working with senior leadership across other company verticalsProven ability to deliver initiatives on time and on budgetExperience working in an Agile Scrum environmentEmpathetic: Understanding customer goals and motivationsAnalytic: Spotting commonalities in customer requestsInnovative: Generating bold ideas for competitive advantagesStrategic: Breaking down projects into pragmatic MVPsCollaborative: Fostering daily communication within the teamAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.We understand that diverse candidates have diverse needs.
