Our culture thrives on intellectual curiosity, cognitive diversity and bringing your whole self to work.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the Space & Commercial Market Facing Team.Responsibilities Include:Market the space strategic product portfolio and capabilities.Technical knowledge of inertial products that support Space Applications.Development and assessment of new opportunities for space navigation systems.Development and maturation of contact plans.Promote expansion and growth within and among the DoD Services and Prime Contractors.Develop strategic proposal win themes, and support capture teams.Develop and implement win strategies.Support the business unit and profit & loss (P&L) leaders to achieve near-term and long-term growth targets.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in Space Navigation Aerospace Industry.10 years experience in Business Development professional across a diverse set of business lines, products, customers, and countries.3+ years experience in executing and leading product growth activities.Working technical knowledge of inertial sensors, navigation technologies, GPS, and space market.Experience leading and collaborating with P&L counterparts.Experience in customer engagement strategy, position to win, price-to-win, and competitive analysis.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be a US citizen.Preferred Qualifications:Masters of Science or MBA Degree and minimum of 10 years experience in space navigation domains.At least 15 years experience in business development with knowledge of the acquisition process.Proven track record on both competitive and non-competitive product growth activities.Existing relationships with Government agencies / Commercial companies in the space inertial domain.Knowledge of SalesForce application.Salary Range:

$149,400 - $224,000. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
