Quality Assurance Analyst

MSIG North America continues to grow!At the direction of the QA Team Lead, project manager, or IT manager, the Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the planning and execution of system functional testing, related data analysis, and user acceptance testing coordination and support. Testing can be in support of production defect analysis to determine root cause, large and small enhancement projects, and regression testing associated with existing legacy applications, and Guidewire Suite applications including Underwriting Management, Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center.Test execution and planning may be manual test cases or automated test cases, working with a developer in Selenium or similar automated test tools. Documentation of test strategies, test plans, and results using MS Word, MS Excel, can be expected.Essential Functions:Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business requirements, and develops test strategies and detailed test cases to ensure system functions per requirements.Ability to work directly with Insurance business staff from Claims, Underwriting, Accounting, State Filings, and Premium Operations departments to assist with user acceptance tests they are assigned.Documents test results in a traceability matrix to ensure system functions are adequately tested to the specific system enhancement or functional change.Communicates issues and verifies issue resolution.Provides testing progress and status reporting to project management.Assists in assembling test team members from functional areas as needed for user acceptance testing.Effectively applies company Agile project methodology and enforces project standards.Ensures that assigned issues are driven to conclusion.Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:

highly preferred .
