The Clean Energy Transportation (CET) group is focused on accelerating the adoption of clean vehicles in California and has an ambitious goal of electrifying 3 million vehicles by 2030. CET leads a ~$0.6B portfolio of transportation electrification (TE) programs to increase the adoption of clean vehicles in California as we work to address one of the largest contributors to climate change – and we need a motivated, organized strategic thinker to help us expand this portfolio. We serve PG&E’s customers by deploying electric vehicle programs to increase access to charging infrastructure, reduce total cost of electric vehicle ownership, educating our customers and pursuing innovative strategies to unlock additional benefits to EV drivers and the grid.Team Overview

PG&E believes that if properly managed, EVs can provide a quadruple value stack of reliability, resiliency, affordability, and lower GHG emissions for the grid and for our customers. The first step in achieving that vision is facilitating the transition to electric vehicles for our customers by simplifying the process, educating customers on the benefits of EVs, and connecting customers to available resources and incentives. CET’s EV Customer Programs team manages a robust portfolio of EV programs and contributes to the overarching strategy for finding solutions to customer barriers to EV adoption.Position Summary

CET’s EV Advisory programs are focused on guiding customers through their transportation electrification (TE) journey and provide a centralized point of contact within PG&E. EV Advisors will cover a wide breadth of TE topics, including site selection, fleet electrification planning, rate selection, load management, vehicle to grid integrations, and serve as subject matter experts to enable the electrification of medium-and-heavy duty fleet vehicles through participation in CET’s EV Fleet program or a standard Service Planning channel. The program will rely heavily on internal cross collaboration efforts.The supervisor will serve as key support for our EV Advisory Services portfolio development and contribute to our overall strategy for customer success. This role will be focused on success of our programs, improved operations, and representing the voice of the customer.Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of 5-8 EV Advisors responsible for customer education, solution design, and onboarding for PG&E’s EV infrastructure programs.Lead internal and external coordination efforts with PG&E’s Service Planning, BES, Marketing, Public Affairs, Project Delivery, Project Management Office, and IT teams.Be a relentless advocate for customers, ensuring that PG&E delivers on its customer commitments.The role is classified as hybrid (0-3 days per week in office), working primarily from your remote office and in-person in the Oakland General Office to attend team meetings or as business needs require.Salary Information

A reasonable salary range is:Bay Area Minimum: $118,000.00Bay Area Maximum: $188,000.00Job Responsibilities

Develop and deliver success metrics for EV Advisory Programs.Deliver on customer acquisition targets for EV Fleet and EV Advisory programs.Develop training materials and provide guidance to ensure the team is well-equipped.Develop an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end customer journey.Coordinate with Program Managers to develop marketing and outreach strategies.Facilitate collaboration between the team and other internal teams.Drive timely and accurate data entry and documentation of project information in Salesforce.Foster a collaborative and speak up culture that drives transparency.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum:Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, sciences, engineering, or equivalent work experience.5 years of relevant work experience.Valid California Driver’s License.Desired:Prior supervisory/managerial experience.Experience within the Clean Transportation industry.Experience managing and improving processes.Strong strategic and analytical capabilities.Design thinking and/or program or product development experience.
