Portland, New York, Remote USRole OverviewChegg is looking for a driven and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Chegg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of fostering university relationships and a deep understanding of the student success educational space. This role is perfect for a sales professional who is excited about the opportunity to build a new operation from the ground up and inform the sales go-to market process.ResponsibilitiesCultivate and deepen relationships with educational institutions to establish Chegg as a trusted partner in the educational ecosystem.Navigate through complex sales cycles, managing multiple stakeholders and decision influencers to secure accounts.Strategically drive sales by identifying opportunities that align Chegg’s offerings with the institutions’ objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective strategies to create a sales funnel.Manage the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on closing initial partners.QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the education technology or student success space.Strong existing relationships with universities and educational institutions.Demonstrate a deep understanding of the student’s success educational space to align Chegg’s solutions with institutional goals.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.The pay range for this position is $111,300 to $275,600. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
