Responsibilities

Leverage existing relationships with local business owners and C-Levels throughout the greater Edina area by making direct face-to-face contact.Prospecting for new business while fostering relationships with new customersAbility to properly articulate Consolidated Communications' products to prospects and pre-qualify the opportunitiesProperly document sales activities in Consolidated Communications' CRM systemFollow sales process and fulfill responsibilities defined in the processAchieve defined quotas set by the Sales ManagerPromptness to prospect meetings and company meetingsProfessionally dressed, presentable and prepared for all prospect engagements

Qualifications

An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:Proven experience to successfully engage business owners or C-level executivesExcellent oral and written communication skillsCRM Experience (SalesForce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)Ideal candidate is dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spiritStrong communication, time management and organizational skillsExcellent presentation skillsSales persuasivenessSelf-motivatedLicense required: Valid State Driver's License and a satisfactory driving recordEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience5+ years telecommunications, cable, directory sales or technology sales experience preferredPhysical Requirements:The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:General office environment, performing work on a computerTravel as required by the business
