The Waev Government Account Manager owns the sales success for the GEM, Taylor-Dunn, and Tiger brands within the Federal Government Sector. This vertical has substantial untapped potential, and this role is tasked with driving it to what it can be.Reporting to the Director of Government Programs, the Government Account Manager will own the prospecting, development, and management of all assigned Federal Government accounts. The end goal is to create and maintain a strong network of end-user relationships and reseller network as an extension of Waev, proactively driving growth and differentiated representation of our brands.The Government Account Manager should be able to navigate all levels of a Federal Government agency, be the expert on the value propositions of our products and bring the energy of our brands to our resellers and customers every single day.Customer AssignmentThis position will have an assignment of Federal Government customers and locations that will be determined based on the location and skillset of the selected candidate.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccelerate and Maximize GrowthAssemble and execute detailed business development plans that aim to capture the growth potential that's available within the assigned portfolio or geography.Operate as the subject matter expert for how your customers conduct their mission, develop a clear understanding of their needs, and be the voice of the customer internally to help us meet their objectives.Meet with end-users to discover vehicle applications, facilitate solutions, and align with preferred spend channels.Ensure the most strategic end-user accounts in your portfolio are supported directly by you, the OEM.Leverage available tools to identify new business opportunities and develop customer leads.Visit end customers with resellers, join in on calls, support as the OEM expert.Drive awareness of Waev brands at events and DEMOs.Develop and Energize Established ResellersManage reseller success as the primary business representative for Waev.Train reseller representatives on Waev products, value proposition and systems to enable growth.Capture and maintain mindshare of all levels of the reseller proactively, to keep partnerships strong.Identify market opportunities and create a business plan to capture it with the reseller.Ensure resellers are representing Waev to our standards, such as lead follow up, branding, messaging.Support reseller and Waev business with updates on market intel and sales trends.Identify new potential reseller partners aligned with strategic contract vehicles.Skills and ExperiencesRequired Skills and ExperiencesBachelor's Degree in related field (Business, Marketing, Management, etc.)Minimum 3-5 years relevant sales experience with a background in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) sales and/or government contracting; proven track record preferred.Advanced knowledge of Federal Government procurement rules and procedures.Ability to regularly access federal and military facilities unencumbered.Experience using Salesforce or similar platforms to manage your business and document progress.Excellent customer service skills.
