Description:Seeking Technical Sales Professional located in the Bay Area for a number of years with a database of contacts. In this position you will:
Utilize Bay Area company Technical H/W and S/W engineers to design in sole source products from Cavium, Microsemi, Micron, Finisar, GE, and Parade.Utilize resources to design in and work with purchasing on commodity products from Micron, Viking, Microsemi, GE, and Finisar.Work with local OEM Regional Sales managers and Manufacturer's Rep companies in the Bay Area.Manage programs as they go from prototype to production. Company has salespeople and warehouse around the world (Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, Mexico, and US) to support production procurement.Work with Phoenics personnel around the world to ensure business is procured after it was designed in.Sell to customer base that also includes System Integrators and Resellers to sell Gigabyte Servers, Edgecore Ethernet Switches, Finisar Optics, and Micron SSDs and DIMMs.
Company only has 2 other salespeople in the Bay Area, so there are plenty of companies to focus on and support for design-ins. Need a real self-starter and go-getter who can get into customers at the highest levels and establish professional relationships.

Requirement:
BSEE preferred but not necessary. Experience and relationships with customers are more critical.OEM Sales, Manufacturer's Rep, or Distributor sales experience required (the more the better). More specifically these are:OEM - companies like TI, Intel, PMC-Sierra, Vitesse, Microsemi, Broadcom, Marvel. We are looking for someone who has experience working for TI, Intel, etc. in OEM sales capacity.Reps - any chip or board/system level company in the Bay Area.Distributors - companies like NuHo, Insight, Unique, or Arrow/Avnet.
