And we want you.525 Key Account ManagerBell is designing a new 16 passenger civil helicopter, the Bell 525, which is in the final stages of Type Certification with the FAA. Bell secured an order from a major customer in Norway and is finalizing an Operational Evaluation (OpEval) project with Offshore Oil & Gas helicopter operators in South America that includes Part 91 operations.The 525 Key Account Manager will be the primary Bell representative for two large accounts at different stages of the buying cycle. The first account requires execution of the 525 OpEval project, including planning, facilitating, and in-country Part 91 operations, contract execution and performance monitoring. The second account requires delivering a fleet of (10) aircraft and coordination of all entry into service efforts.This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for customer success, a proven track record of leading cross-functional project teams, managing complex civil aviation projects with multi-year deal structures and coordinating entry into service efforts for the Bell 525. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, the successful candidate will build key relationships internally across the Commercial Business organization (Sales, Programs, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Customizing, CSS, Training Academy, Offset, Supply Chain, Independent Representatives, etc.)This position requires a heavy on-site presence for the duration of the Operational Evaluation in Guyana, as well as domestic and international travel to support Customer meetings and aircraft deliveries.What you’ll be doing as a 525 Key Account ManagerServe as Bell’s primary representative, internally and externally, with multiple customers for 525 Operational Evaluation, Entry into Service, and delivery of aircraft including the first (10) contracted helicopters into Norway.Lead an Operational Evaluation Project Team aligned with Bell core values that establishes and achieves all OpEval and Aircraft Delivery Key Performance Indicator metrics.Develop collaborative relationships resulting in a high level of Customer satisfaction and positive relationships within the Project Team.Serve as the primary point of contact with Equinor for their Working Group Committees, sources the appropriate Bell responses internally to satisfy their requirements and provides feedback.Manage, track, and report all contract requirement deliverables to include primary responsibility for facilitating customer Project team meetings, delivery meetings, Milestone reviews, etc.Conduct an internal Monthly Review and Report – Manage, track, and report on risks, issues and opportunities, financial budgets, and contractual requirements at the execution level.Assist in the identification and development of additional aircraft kits to facilitate key mission requirements in the Offshore, SAR, and Utility mission profiles. Ensure effective communication within Bell regarding customer requirements and Program/Engineering effort required to satisfy needs.In Norway, qualify and develop opportunities to grow regional 525 market share, develop relationships for longer term sales prospects and respond to tenders aligned with the global 525 sales strategy.Coordinate with internal teams in preparing formal proposals and RFI responses, requiring collaboration with contracts, pricing, the 525 program and Bell Customer Service and Support to maximize sales opportunities within the region.Participate in regular executive level briefs as required.Skills You Bring To this RoleProficient use of Project Management tools, processes, and systems. Functional skills with software tools such as PPM and Premier toolset, Microsoft Project and Excel.Leadership and ability to cultivate and develop relationships across the business.Strong communication and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to quickly and proactively solve problems and resolve issues.Display a strong sense of intercultural awareness and business acumen to work with all the different parties to achieve successful outcomes.Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50%; with additional ability to remain on-site during OpEval period as required.Bell 525 technical knowledge is highly desirable.What you need to be successfulB.S. in Engineering, Aerospace, Management, or Business. MBA is preferred.6+ years of Aerospace Industry Experience.2+ years experience either with Part 135 or Part 91 Helicopter Operations highly desirable.Proven Project Management experience within aerospace or rotary wing environment, preferably with new type introductions.
