.About the Role :Ouro Global is hiring a Contracts Manager to help the company expand its consumer financial services offerings in a complex and dynamic regulatoryenvironment. You will have the opportunity to serve as a strategic professional who specializes in the creation, analysis, negotiation, and oversight of contracts for fast-paced growth organization. You together with the Senior Corporate Counsel will serve as the nexus between Ouro and its clients or suppliers, ensuring that all contractual agreements are legally sound, financially prudent, and aligned with business objectives. With a keen eye for detail and a firm grasp on compliance and risk management, you will play a critical role in facilitating smooth business operations and fostering robust partnerships. Your expertise will be pivotal in navigating the complexities of contracts to safeguard the interests of Ouro while maintaining fair and beneficial arrangements for all parties involved.This position will report directly to the Senior Corporate Counsel and it will be part of the Legal Department based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas.Responsibilities:Manage an overall contract lifecycle (intake, generating, executing) and maintain up-to-date files
Utilize sophisticated workflow and contract management tools ( e . g ., Ironclad, Salesforce) and knowledge databases to implement, maintain, and/or improve Ouro’s contract review and approval processes
Perform the initial Ouro review of a wide range of agreements, including nondisclosure agreements, distribution agreements, marketing agreements, SaaS agreements, statements of work, service terms and conditions, data processing agreements
Review contract files to respond to audit requests or provide data or information to legal department and other internal teams
Work closely with internal account management and sales teams
Draft contracts, letters or other documents on behalf of the legal department
Skills/Education/Experience:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in contract management or drafting contract or similar documents
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school or NCMA Contract Manager certification preferred, but not required
Experience managing legal documents in a corporate setting
Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to make timely decisions and draw appropriate conclusions
Customer and internal-client focused self-starter with the ability to prioritize effectively and work well colleagues across businesses and geographies in a fast-paced environment
