This role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Hyperion software solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in Hyperion applications, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead a team of Hyperion administrators and developers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Hyperion applications.Develop and implement best practices for Hyperion application development, deployment, and support.Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and prioritize projects.Develop productive and effective relationships with the FP&A and the GAAP teams resulting in a world-class financial system.Manage the day-to-day operations of the Hyperion environment, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system availability.Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including mentoring and coaching as needed.Stay up-to-date on the latest Hyperion technologies and trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Configure and customize Hyperion to meet specific business requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.Develop and implement internal controls and data security protocols for Hyperion.Act as a SME when working on the integration of Hyperion applications with other systems and platforms.Prepare and present regular reports on the performance and status of Hyperion applications to the Director of Financial Applications and other senior management.Ensure Hyperion financial controls are in compliance with SOX and audit controls.Supervisory Responsibilities:Between 1 – 3 employees and contractor team.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSStrong technical expertise in Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Financial Management, and other Hyperion applications.Experience with Hyperion infrastructure components, including WebLogic Server, Oracle Database, and Essbase Server.Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis processes and methodologies.Strong finance understanding of income, balance sheet and expense accounts and their reporting.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions in a timely manner.Proven track record of successfully leading Hyperion implementation projects from concept to completion.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in Hyperion application development and administration.Preferred Experience:MA in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.Relevant certifications in Hyperion or related technologies are a plus.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Build a lasting career with us.
