Take unemployment claims, identify eligibility issues, conduct non-monetary investigations/adjudications, audit work search activity, and provide customers with information on unemployment claims.Provide customer service assistance, handle inbound and outbound calls, perform basic claim intake, create issues, and answer questions and concerns from customers in a timely manner.Assist other departments within the Office of Reemployment Assistance (ORA) as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, if needed.Some travel may be required.All potential applicants are required to have a valid driver's license and pass an extensive background check.What You'll Need to be Successful:

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management and organizational skills.Computer literacy and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.A commitment to quality and accountability.A broad knowledge of MDES laws, regulations, programs, and agency policies related to unemployment.Preferred Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience. Agency preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and two years of experience directly related to the above-described job duties or similar review and investigative processes.Minimum Qualifications:
