Dynamic Opportunity
~ As a full-time employee, working 40 hours per week, a PACT Vocational Specialist provides vocational training and educational opportunities to PACT consumers in an effort to maintain their full integration into the community in the least restrictive environment. Provides ongoing support (job coach) to consumers and collaborates with employers as necessary.
The Guidance Center
~ is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 60 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.
What does this position look like
~ Serves as a member of the PACT Team providing case management and/or specialized services to the consumer, participates in PACT medication deliveries, and provides education and support for natural supports such as family of the PACT individual. Monitors individualized recovery plans with consumers on an ongoing basis and advocates for revisions as warranted. Participates in the treatment planning process, i.e., development of the consumer's individualized recovery plan.
What you need to apply

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in human services or health-related field.
A minimum of two years experience working with severely and persistently mentally ill clients.
Knowledge of mental health symptomatology, intervention, and treatment preferred.
A valid New Jersey driver's license and ability to be insured by our carrier.
