Energy New England is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, Energy Auditor to join our team. This auditor would be focusing on ENE’s Massachusetts clients located in Essex and Middlesex Counties.Responsible for conducting Home Energy Assessments served by municipal utilities in our client areas. Model current home energy usage and recommend improvements and upgrades. Provide infrared scans (IR) when conditions permit and install various LED’s and other small, instant-savings measures.Essential Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesPerform residential and multi-family energy audits using ENE designated softwareCompile detailed work recommendations for customers and contractors on energy efficiency measures including heat pumps, weatherization, and other beneficial electrificationProvide Infrared Scans (IR) as part of the energy audit when weather permitsProvide technical assistance, guidance, and training to customers on issues related to energy efficiencyTroubleshoot technical problems and issues related to energy usageOther duties as assignedWork performed requires periods of walking and standing. was founded in 1998 to enhance the competitive position of public power entities in response to deregulation and to attain operating efficiencies in energy risk management and retail account management. We are a municipal light plant cooperative established under Chapter 164, Section 47C of the Massachusetts General Laws.
