The Sales Operations and Logistics Sr Manager is the leader of the "DEF Deal Desk" where Subject Matter Expert support is provided to the C&I Sales team for bidding any RFP's, providing solutions to customer issues, and guidance through the sales process. This role will participate in DEF Logistics Strategy development and lead specific project planning for rail development opportunities. Additional responsibilities will include assisting in the development of new route shipment plans in key markets.Responsibilities

New Business and Existing Customer Consulting and Quoting

Serves as the SME (DEF Subject Matter Expert) for the C&I Sales team to provide help with DEF Discovery, Method of Service, Margin Recommendations, Equipment Support and Amortization Support for new and existing DEF customers.Provides DEF training to new C&I sales employees.Keeps DEF marketing information up to date and develops new material for product specific options.Maintains sales data tracking to provide metrics around DEF sales performance.Helps sales coordinate from execution stage through onboarding.Identify complex DEF sales issues and provide proposed solutions to the sales team to solve such problems.Maintain regular insight into the sales pipeline, including both new business and renewals opportunities, and the timing of each to ensure the support teams are aware and prepared to execute at the highest level of service.Collaborate with the Sales Leadership to promote cross-department engagement to ensure DEF share of wallet is being increased across all accounts.Logistics Development

Participate in the development of the DEF Rail Logistics planning.Lead in the project planning and execution for DEF Rail Blending facilities where Mansfield is investing in assets.Assist the logistics team in the development of new route shipments in markets where Mansfield is providing a trailer delivery asset or are converting buyback deliveries to route shipments.Assist in evaluating and, where applicable, ensure Operations' interactions with the customer are appropriately and timely resolved.Other Duties as Assigned

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

High school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.Knowledge & Experience

Minimum 5 years of DEF experience required.Minimum 8 years of business-to-business experience, in a sales, logistics or operations management role.Advanced proficiency in MS 365 Suite, with demonstrated abilities in Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills required.Prior petroleum industry experience is preferred.Strong financial acumen with the ability to read, understand and analyze a profit and loss statement.Qualifications & Characteristics
