Whether our customers are accelerating life sciences research, solving sophisticated analytical challenges, improving patient diagnostics and therapies, or growing in their laboratories, we are here to support them.We offer:Competitive Pay: $27.05 per hour (includes shift differential)Paid Time Off & Holidays401K Company Match up to 6%Employee Referral BonusEmployee Discount ProgramRecognition ProgramCharitable Gift MatchingCompany Paid Parental LeaveHow will you make an impact?Perform work in QC Media, Buffer, STAT and non-STAT testing, and Parts Wash areas, and ensure customer business needs and documentation practices are met consistentlyWhat will you do?Ensure proper training (EHSS, SOPs, TRNQs) is completed in a timely mannerTriage safety or compliance incidents and participate in investigation & CAPA executionAdjust schedules as appropriate to manage peak workloadsTrack and report operational metrics, savings initiativeParticipate in internal and client meetings related to QCProvide in-lab operational support on an as needed basis including:Operator level gowning for entrance and work performed in manufacturing suitesOperation of Waters and Agilent HPLC analysis systems using SEC, IEC, RPC, and Affinity chromatography methodsHPLC Analysis for Purity, Identify, and Concentration (PIC) for STAT and non-STAT samplesInterpret HPLC result data for molecule PIC based Method acceptance criteriaIndependent data verification of HPLC analysis product for PICCommunication with manufacturing management analysis results for forward processing of commercial productEnsures that, equipment, materials, processes, and procedures align with cGMP practices and other applicable regulationsAlerts Customer management of quality, compliance, supply and safety riskMaintaining metric data for work performedMaintain Quality Control reagents within customer validated Consumable Inventory Management System (CIMS), including adding reagents, uploading C of A, determination of chemical equivalents, crafting sub-inventories, and discarding of itemsPerform primary trainer responsibility for customer validated Methods and proceduresParticipate in individual or group projects that can include, cost savings analysis, learning groups, writing job training methodsHow will you get here?High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferredAbility to read, write, and speak English is required0-3 years of progressive proven experience preferredRequires proof of COVID-19 vaccinationDisplays a high level of confidentiality for both customer and FisherMust maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ Four-I ValuesDemonstrates a strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels of personnel at the customer siteMust always deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearanceOperating skills to use hand-held devices and learn to enter data in various systems as neededPossesses the organizational skills to multi-task, manage time, and meet SLAsEfficient intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of softwareExperience in laboratory settings and GLP/GMP environments, preferredExperience with LIMS, CIMS, My Buy procurement programs a plusProficient verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented, problem solving, promotes partnershipAble to lift, push and pull 50 pounds consistentlyFlexibility to work overtime as requiredAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 100,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
