Who You'll Work WithYou will be based in our Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, or Washington DC office and will be part of the Growth Marketing & Sales Solutions team. You will work with our Agile Insights Solution that helps companies across all industries gain consumer, shopper and buyer insights with our comprehensive suite of agile market research techniques and expertise.
Your impact within our firmYou will partner with consulting teams and work directly with clients to understand their primary business objectives, strategize a research plan, and lead the end-to-end research process from design to insights. In your role, you will engage as a consulting team member to generate qualitative and quantitative B2C and B2B insights and translate findings into business recommendations. The majority of your time will be spent on client-facing engagements to design research strategies to meet engagement objectives and lead survey instrument and/or qualitative question guide development with key stakeholders. You will also advise on the analytics plan, including advanced modeling, and help the team analyze, identify and synthesize emerging implications and recommendations for clients. You will also be responsible for working with the firm's preferred vendors to program and field the research to ensure high quality data.
You will also contribute to firm knowledge initiatives through in-depth support of B2C and B2B insights needs and collaborate with other consultants to develop original points of view or tools focused on areas of expertise.
Your qualifications and skills
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
4+ years of market research experience with a strong emphasis on quantitative experience and consumer and shopper insights; background at a market research agency or a research department at a consumer-oriented company preferred
Well versed in usage and attitude measurement, brand equity measurement, concept testing, product testing, segmentation, etc.
Superior analytical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and derive insights
Highly developed understanding of relevant content area (e.g. industry sector, functional topic)
Advanced business knowledge and ability to translate business objectives into research objectives
Full understanding of research techniques, information sources, and statistical analysis/analytic techniques as relevant to role
Solid problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results on time
Clear and precise communicator including excellent business writing skills
Comfortable working with statistical software packages
Ethnography background and one-on-one interviewing skills a plus
Highly organized, resourceful, and able to prioritize among competing demands
Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively on teams and with people at all levels
Ability to travel as needed
