The Role
As Legal Contract Manager, some of the duties will involve:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk management strategies.
Manage the entire contract life-cycle from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Manage EPC contracts, ensuring all phases of the project are aligned with contractual obligations and company standards.
Handle contract modifications, claims, and disputes efficiently, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
Oversee contractual aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure clear communication and understanding of contractual obligations.
The Person
The successful candidate will likely have:
Master’s degree in law
Fluent in Spanish
& English (essential)
Monthly travel or relocation to Puerto Rico to support a number of projects.
At least 5 years of experience in legal contract management, and strong commercial background.
Proven experience in negotiating and managing complex contracts, including EPC contracts and utility-based substation projects a huge bonus.
Experience in claims management and dispute resolution.
Excellent understanding of contractual terms and conditions, risk management, and legal compliance.
