Join Our 'Ohana: About the Role
The Pool and Beach Assistant Managers are primarily based supervising our pool decks in-person, as well as taking time to write schedules, employee performance reviews, analyzing food and beverage data to incentivize buy-in, as well as assisting in other positional duties but only as needed. They assist in overseeing all facets of the Pool and Beach program. An Assistant Manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the staff. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the interviewing, training, supervising, and coaching of staff.
What We Look For:
We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential for this position. Applicants must be comfortable with open-air, outdoor-driven 5-Star service as well as coaching guest service standards, optimizing and protecting cost, merchandising and accounting. Experience coaching teams, and working with up-and-coming hospitality professionals is preferred. This position requires walking through the shift to ensure quality and service throughout our pools and beach, as well as office-driven tasks. Repetitive motion and movements are essential functions of this position. This Manager is in direct contact with not only the Pool & Beach Director, but the entire Food & Beverage team therefore strong communication skills are essential. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is required. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Two to three years previous employment in a related position is preferred.
