The Sr Maintenance Manager reports to the Director of Maintenance and directs all maintenance activities for assigned aircraft and departmental personnel tasked to those aircraft.Minimum Requirements

Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) Certificate mandatory5-7 years experience in aviation maintenanceMust be familiar with CFR 14 Parts 21, 43, 91 and 135 maintenance requirementsMust be able to obtain an airport ID badgeAt least 5 years of experience using MS Office, including WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and OUTLOOK.Working knowledge of all applicable Federal Aviation RegulationsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceMain Responsibilities

Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for aircraft maintenance projectsEnsures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and costProvides technical support to industry engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasksDevelops and recommends procedures and methods, and prepares technical reports and documentationPerforms technical evaluations of assigned aircraft maintenance events to determine root cause; recommends and manages corrective action including the resulting documentationCommunicates with specific owner personnel as directed aircraft flight crewmembers and company schedulers and dispatchers regarding aircraft maintenance schedules and budgets including accurate expectations for approvals for return to serviceResponsible for the acceptance, rejection, and disposition of all work accomplished on assigned company aircraft, engine components, propellers or accessories, by Jet Aviation Maintenance and/or authorized vendorsOther duties may be assigned, as neededRepresents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics networkDesired Characteristics
