This remote opportunity is open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States or Canada.The Product Owner is responsible for the continuous delivery of value to the market, customers, and users for their products. They engage their stakeholders in making data-driven decisions regarding which features and functionality to build and the order in which to build them. The senior product owner is responsible for the entire product lifecycle and the overall success of their products and the VelocityEHS platform in the market. They are responsible for acting as the product owner on their scrum teams, effectively collaborating with the development team to ensure they rapidly build what customers and the market need.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities Include:Gathers and documents project requirements, including workflow diagrams when appropriateCreates and refines backlog itemsManages backlog priority, giving scrum teams focusGathers stakeholder feedbackCollaborates with members from other teams to manage dependencies and remove blockersUnderstand and troubleshoots issues affecting a product/feature/serviceProactively addresses potential issues before they become larger issuesProduces release notesMinimum Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experienceMin 3+ years of product management experienceBasic knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleExperience with Enterprise SaaS solutionsPreferred Skills and Qualifications:
