Works effectively in a team environment and welcomes a challenge. Accomplish multiple assignments and projects with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines. Individual must believe in a service philosophy of owning issues through completion and to exceed service level expectations in every interaction.ResponsibilitiesProcess and sort incoming paperwork from branches and departmentsOrganize and archive incoming teller work and checks from branchesScan and Index documents for permanent archival via NautilusRespond to subpoenas, court orders, and summons by providing member informationAssist other areas in Operations and Payments as neededProvide professional, high-quality service to our members, fellow employees and those who request member documentsContribute to a sense of teamwork and purpose within the departmentProvide input in increasing operational efficiencies and controlling department expensesComply with all security and confidentiality proceduresFollow all internal control proceduresSchedule your work time and resources to ensure all work is completed accurately and on scheduleAssist in completing various tasks within the department, and other departments, as neededKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesSelf-starter with a desire to increase their responsibility and value to OnPointStrong, proven time management and organizational skillsEffective verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external interactionsAbility to identify, analyze, and resolve operational and member issuesAbility to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situationsDemonstrated the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentHistory of successfully handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, all while making sound decisions and consistently achieving performance expectationsStrong understanding of credit union operations, procedures and applicable regulationsProven accuracy, thoroughness, and orderliness in performing work assignmentsJob QualificationsHigh school graduate or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of successful experience working in a financial institution a plusPhysical Requirements:Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of objects up to 50lbs.Constant 10-key typingFrequent sitting, walking and standingAt OnPoint, we believe a workplace that reflects the richness of the world fosters a welcoming and empowering environment for everyone.
