Position:

Fitness/Wellness Studio Assistant Manager

As a pioneer in practitioner assisted stretching, Stretch Zone is seeking an energetic, forward-thinking, and customer service-oriented individual with a background in sales and either sports science or medicine, kinesiology, personal training, physical therapy, or massage therapy to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee studio operations from sales to staff scheduling and stretching.

Assist the General Manager and/or Studio Owner with new membership sales and all studio operations.

Exhibit exemplary assisted stretching techniques, leadership, and superior client service.

Work Saturdays and be responsible for the weekend production of the studio.

Ensure implementation of Stretch Zone’s standard policies and procedures for business, customer, and financial management.

Encourage and motivate clients throughout their stretch sessions.

Drive new and existing client membership sales through outside sales, lead generation, and client retention efforts.

Manage the staff schedule.

Successfully resolve customer service challenges.

Assist the General Manager and/or Studio Owner in meeting performance metrics, revenue, inventory, and facility maintenance as needed.

Assist in the execution of the company’s marketing and social media efforts.

Maintain a clean and tidy studio.

Oversee functions of the front desk, including answering phones, greeting clients, check-ins, and booking appointments.

Market outside and at community events.

Complete our 80-hour training program on the Stretch Zone methodology.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred background: Exercise, Health or Recreational Science Degree, Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, PT Aide, Chiropractor, Pilates, Yoga Instructor, or Dance Instructor.

At least 1+ years of fitness, health, or wellness sales experience.

Physical stamina to lift and move clients and spend up to 6-8 hours standing and performing stretches.

Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.

Proficient computer skills required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive pay based on experience and performance; $15-22/hour.

Flexible shifts between 7am-7pm; Five-day work week Mon-Sat, full or part-time work.
