May supervise office/field administrative staff, project/field engineers, assistant project/construction managers, and other assigned staff. Will be expected to cover projects in King County and Pierce County and others as required.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Primary contact and liaison for owner and principle partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverablesDevelops project specific procedures and documentation, and may consult with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the projectFunctional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirementsObtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entitiesReviews and summarizes project data, conducting field checks for compliance of construction with design documents, monitoring, reporting and providing recommendations to the Project DirectorSuccessfully manages and executes 5 to 10 projects simultaneously, ranging in construction value and complexity from $1M to $30M eachIdentifies projects risks, creating and implementing risk mitigation plansRepresents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetingsManages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeoutLeads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statusesMay coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entitiesManages bid phase services, as may be required by the clientPerforms other duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent is requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager/Construction Manager managing multiple construction projectsMinimum of 2 years of experience in educational facility design and construction in the K-12 Education Sector is requiredKnowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts and delivery methods are requiredStrong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as Prolog, Primavera and ProCore are requiredExperience with using a web based project management systemsExperience in alternative delivery methods; Design-Build experience strongly desiredOffered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
