Manages & supports stakeholder communications related to project or program delivery.Develops, maintains, and adjusts scopes and schedules; manages & supports dependencies and status.Analyzes, communicates, and manages risk that threaten critical success factors.Ensures effective governance & stakeholder management is in place.Focuses and ensures business value is attained through delivery of business outcomes.Accountable for supporting and/or leading on-time and on-budget delivery.Technical projects can be software, application, platform, infrastructure, security, or projects that bring together subject matter experts in multiple IT/Software Engineering disciplines to deliver something.Prepares and provides program budgets and forecasts for assigned engineering domain in collaboration with the Business, Technology, Finance, and Program Management teams.Responsible for monitoring and reporting on project scope, financials, resources, timeline, and risks for technical and analytical projects and programs.Your Role

Project Manager - Provide project management functions for department initiatives and projects to include the planning and management of scope, timelines/plans, risks and quality management across all five areas of the project: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control and project closeout.Analytical Product Development - Demonstrate strong understanding of the software development lifecycle for analytical and/or IT product development.Understand software integration and system architecture enough to inform mitigation activities for project risks and required documentation for project artifacts.Project Management Advocate - Provide thought leadership for the design of PMO standards development including infrastructure, tools, processes and governance for project and financial management.Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and other information beneficial to the project management function and leverage that knowledge to improve projects.Manage PMO-related financial/operational activities.Financial Management - Manage annual capital planning process (e.g. facilitate ROM sessions, handle scope changes, identify risks, report out to leadership on ACP inputs for the project(s)).Monitor and distribute project financials to ensure accuracy of budget tracking.Prepare monthly forecasts and other financial-related requests/issues from Tech and Finance partners.Communicator - Proactively communicate with the project team regarding project changes, issues affecting the execution of deliverables, and the expectations for completing each task.Provide central coordination and communication for the team through the duration of assigned projects.Facilitator & Presenter - Facilitates project meetings to ensure the objectives of the meeting are met.Presents work in the form of presentations that tell a clear and compelling story about the status of the project.Efficiency Advocate - Identify efficiency opportunities within a given project and challenge existing processes to continuously seek improved project initiation, planning, execution, and implementation.Basic Qualification

Typically has 7+ years of progressively complex related experience.BA/BS or equivalent experience required.Extensive knowledge and direct experience with the financial life cycle.Extensive knowledge of project management tools, including: Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project dependency based WBS structures, Teams, Slack.Extensive experience with the software development lifecycle and significant experience managing technical development projects.Extensive knowledge and understanding of technical integration and overall solution architecture for software development projects.Preferred Qualifications:Project Management Professional Certification.Previous managing consulting experience.Strong knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry.Familiarity with statistics, industrial engineering, marketing and sales, pricing, or revenue management analytics.Master's degree, other advanced degree or equivalent verified successful project management execution.Required Education
