This role combines hands-on technical contributions and people management. You will be planning, developing, deploying and releasing solutions in a cloud-based environment using an agile development process. You will help develop people for the long term, recruiting, training, promoting and advocating for your direct reports.
ResponsibilitiesArchitect and lead development of technical solutions that are secure, robust, performant, and scalableEmploy technical and thought leadership to drive products from inception to releaseWork with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needsWrite correct, well-factored code that is testable and maintainable, and that demonstrates best practicesBalance engineering costs of development, testing, deployment complexity, and run-time cost, to deliver optimum value for the business and customersResponsible for people development, resource management and enhancing overall productivityIdentify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competenciesSet and communicate team/individual objectives and KPIs to inspire individuals to achieve high performanceImplement development plans and coach individuals to reach their maximum talentProvide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address performance issues in a timely mannerRecognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talentQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experienceExceptional communication skillsExperience12+ years of significant hands-on experience in specific areas of competence such as web service/API development (C#/.NET), database, and devops7+ years of experience in each of the following:Service-oriented architectures and microservicesSystem performance analysis and tuningRelational database developmentVersion control and continuous integrationAgile software development life cycle–from concept to deliveryArchitecting scalable, web-based solutions for caching, retry, asynchronous queuing, etc.Leadership in root cause analysis and risk mitigation5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:Distributed systems and cloud computing (Azure, AWS, etc)Document storage technologies (MongoDB, AWS S3, etc.)Messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, AWS SQS, ActiveMQ, etc.)4-7 years relevant leadership experience (Preferred)Experience and knowledge of the industry (Preferred)Enhancing Lives and Building CareersVeradigm believes in empowering our associates with the tools and flexibility to bring the best version of themselves to work and to further their professional development.
