You are invited to become a thought Leader on a team that is passionate about building Cloud first re-usable services and scalable architectures.
The primary purpose of this role is to lead development resources and participate in the efforts to solve complex technical problems to deliver vital, reliable product features to our customers. You will be hands-on, planning, developing, deploying and releasing solutions in an agile environment. You will help develop people for the long term, recruiting, training, promoting and advocating for your direct reports. The job duties will be split between 80% technical and 20% managerial.
ResponsibilitiesArchitect and lead development of technical solutions that are secure, robust, performant, and scalableEmploy technical and thought leadership to drive products from inception to releaseWrite high quality, well-tested, readable and maintainable code that is a model for others to followWork with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needsBalance engineering costs of development, testing, deployment complexity, and run-time cost, to deliver optimum value for the business and customersParticipate in resource forecasting and allocation of software engineers and quality engineers across Product and Platform TeamsResponsible for people development, resource management and enhancing overall productivityIdentify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competenciesImplement measurable technical development plans and coach individuals to reach their maximum talentProvide regular constructive feedback on coding, performance, development and address performance issues in a timely mannerRecognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talentQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experienceExceptional communication skillsExperience12+ total years of significant hands-on experience in several competence areas such as web service/API development (C#/.NET), database, and devops7+ years of experience in each of the followingService-oriented architectures and microservicesSystem performance analysis and tuningRelational database developmentVersion control and continuous integrationAgile software development life cycle from concept to deliveryArchitecting scalable, web-based solutions for caching, retry, asynchronous processing, etc.Leadership in root cause analysis and risk mitigation5+ years of experience in one or more of the followingDistributed systems and cloud computing (Azure, AWS, etc)Document storage technologies (MongoDB, AWS S3, etc.)Messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, AWS SQS, ActiveMQ, etc.)4-7 years relevant leadership experience (Preferred)Experience and knowledge of the industry (Preferred)Enhancing Lives and Building CareersVeradigm believes in empowering our associates with the tools and flexibility to bring the best version of themselves to work and to further their professional development.
